Looking for an alternative to PLA moving jaw fursuits? Our 3D-printed TPU fursuit headbase is lightweight and durable. Made for makers of medium to high skill levels, this headbase for fursuit building features a sleek design and a functional moving jaw to bring your fursuit head to life.

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING.

-------------- Sizing & Fitting ---------------

This headbase is one-size fits all. However the maximum head size it can accomodate is this: 

- 24cm of height from chin top of head
- 15cm from cheek to cheek (exterior)

You do absolutey need to add padding on the interior of the head to make this usable. We generally suggest adding foam padding in front, under the chin and on top of your head where the headbase rests. 

If you believe you need a bigger headbase to fit your head please reach out to us, we do custom sizing adjustments.

-------------- Straps ---------------

This headbase comes with holes for straps but the straps can also be glued directly onto the interior of the headbase using hot glue. If you do choose to glue the straps on We recommend two layers, one under and one on top to cover as much surface area as possible. 

-------------- Gluing PLA parts to TPU ---------------

We highly recommend you use E6000 glue to glue any PLA parts to your headbase. Why?
Because hot glue is stiff and will crack and break. E6000 glue can stretch and is a much stronger bond between parts. We do recommend using a mask when using that type of glue. 

----------------- Imperfections ------------------

In our fight against plastic waste. We do choose to ship headbases that come with visual imperfections that happen during the assembling such as glue around the muzzle or glue spots. Those do not affect the integrity of the headbase itself. 

----------------- Warning ------------------

We do use E6000 glue to connect the muzzle to the rest of the head. That glue smells a lot and can release vapors for up to 24 hours. It does happen sometimes that we ship the item before that 24 hour time frame. If you smell glue, let your headbase air out for a few hours before attempting to wear it.

This headbase is compatible with all canine items in our store if you want to add silicone parts.

Material: TPU– durable, lightweight, and easy to work with, works great for hotglue.

Nose: Made of PLA. Detached for easy customization, if you want to paint your nose we suggest buying the white version of this headbase.
